Marjorie L. Thomas' Obituary
STREETSBORO Marjorie L. Thomas, 85 years of age, passed away Monday November 25, 2013 at Longmeadow Care Center in Ravenna, Ohio. Born in Akron, Ohio on May 13, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Teresa (Antoinetti) Defer. A homemaker, Mrs. Thomas was a lifetime Streetsboro resident. Her hobbies included knitting and crocheting, yet family was what she will be remembered by as her greatest joy. Camping with her husband and family, the weekly family dinners, and attending the sporting events of her grandchildren will be the cherished memories that she so lovingly has left for those who loved her. On July 6, 1947, she married James O. "Dutch" Thomas who preceded her in death in 2005. Surviving are her children Mick (Lisa) Thomas of Kent, Sandra (Bill) Moncheck of Ravenna and Robin (Rod) Wenrich of Mantua. Also surviving are her grandchildren Tara (Ray), Jena, Kyla, Lora, Erin, Adam, Lisa, Craig, Michael, Anthony and Hannah, and great-grandchildren Gian and Ameera. Calling hours will be Friday November 29, 2013 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where funeral services will be held Saturday November 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Final resting place will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro.
