Mary Jane Chinn's Obituary
MANTUA Mary Jane Chinn, 81 years of age, passed away Tuesday August 6, 2013 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio with her loving family by her side. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 25, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (Fazio) Astorino. A Homemaker, Mrs, Chinn had been a Mantua area resident the past 15 years, formerly living in Willoughby, Ohio. A longtime member of St. Jerome's Catholic Church, she said the rosary daily and for many years attended prayer meetings weekly. Shopping, cooking and cleaning were her passions, and she also took great pride in being a member of The Red Hat's. On February 15, 1958, she married Dallas D. Chinn who preceded her in death on March 15,2003. Survivors include her children Joseph Chinn of Mantua, Diana (Ray) Giangiacomo of Georgia, Denise (John) Friend of Hiram, Janice (Bobby) Fish of Oklahoma and Sandra Kay (James) Hurd of Michigan, her grandchildren Dawn, Joseph, Ashley, Jonathan, Celeste, Brandon, Dustin, Annamarie and Ray, and her great-grandchildren Angilo and Dakota. Funeral services will be Saturday August 10, 2013, 12:00 Noon at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until the time of her services. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. David Misbrener with final resting place to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Hiram.
