Mary Ann Dvorak's Obituary
SHALERSVILLE-TWIN LAKES Mary Ann C. Dvorak, 82 years of age, passed away Saturday September 3, 2011 at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Born on November 10, 1928 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Vincenza (Baglione) DiGregorio. A resident of Shalersville for 45 years, she had resided at The Pines of Twin Lakes since 2004. A homemaker, Mrs. Dvorak had also been employed for 12 years at the Hattie Larlham Foundation, and she and her husband operated a green house on Diagonal Road for several years. A member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mantua, she was very active with the Garden Club of the church and had a very special love and devotion for her church. She enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, music, opera, dancing and spending time with her friends, family and especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Dvorak in 1987 and her daughter Charlotte D. Solomon in 2002 and 1 brother and 6 sisters. Survivors include her daughters Mary L. (John Alisse) Dvorak of Scarsdale, New York and Jenny D. (Todd) Adams of Kent and her loving grandchildren Emma and Amanda Adams. Calling hours will be Friday from 2:00P.M.-4:00 P.M. & 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Green family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where prayers will be said Saturday at 9:15 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday September 10, 2011 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Michael Garvey officiating. Mrs. Dvorak will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville Township.
