Mary L. Knippenberg (née Clelland), age 65, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026.
Beloved wife of Ralph Knippenberg. Loving mother of Josh Clelland. Cherished sister of Lynn (the late Gary) Blakely, Jeanne Patton, Susan Gaudet, Ann (Shawn) Roan, Paul (Amy) Clelland, Danny Clelland, and the late John David Clelland. Dear daughter of the late John and Donna Clelland. Proud aunt of many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
Mary found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved spending time at the casino, playing euchre with family and friends, and anything that involved the beach or being near the water. Music was always close to her heart, and she had a deep love and compassion for animals.
Mary will be remembered for her kind heart, her unwavering enthusiasm, and the laughter she shared with everyone around her. Even while facing difficult times, she continued to greet life with strength, warmth, and a positive spirit that inspired those who knew her. She created special memories with those she loved and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
