Mary Margaret Robinson's Obituary
BAINBRIDGE TWP.-AURORAMary Margaret Robinson, 85 years of age, passed away Wednesday March 25, 2015 at Anna Maria of Aurora. Mary was born in Youngstown, Ohio on March 12, 1930, and following the death of her mother, she moved to Scotland with her father and five siblings. Returning to the states in her early twenties, she then lived with her great aunt in Northfield. Following her marriage, she and her husband moved to Macedonia, later building a home in Bainbridge Township where they resided for many years. At the time of her passing, Mary was the longest resident living at Anna Maria.In Scotland, and Ohio, Mary worked as a Registered Nurse, and then was employed at Progressive Insurance Company for many years in Ohio. A member of Valley Presbyterian Church in Bainbridge, Mary remained active in her senior years at the outings with her many friends at Norwood. She also was a huge fan of American Idol. Survivors include her sons Scott (Debbie Rankin) Robinson of Garrettsville and Kevin (Sandy) Robinson of California, three grandchildren Matthew, Sean and Ian, and her siblings Frank Clisby, John Lyle, Elizabeth Clisby and Anne Lyle all of Scotland. She was preceded in death in 1998 by her husband Donald Robinson, and also by her sister Mary McClaren. No calling hours. A memorial service for Mary will be held Saturday April 4, 2015, 2:00 P.M. at The Norwood of Anna Maria in Aurora, Ohio. Mary is being laid to rest with her husband Donald at a private family burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
