Mary K. Simcox's Obituary
STREETSBORO Mary K. Simcox, 72 years of age, passed away Tuesday June 16, 2015 at her residence. Born in New Martinsville, West Virginia on November 30, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Harold F. and Zeda (Resseeger) Richards.Formerly of Windham, she had been a Streetsboro resident since 1968. Mary had been employed at the former Marshalls Drug Store in Windham, following which she was a clerk at the Lawson's Dairy in Streetsboro for many years. Mary was a graduate of Windham High School in 1961. Mary enjoyed playing Bingo and had been active in bowling at Sky Lanes in Garrettsville, yet what she found the most enjoyment were those special times that "Nanny" spent with her grandchildren. On March 28, 1964, she married her devoted husband James C. Simcox who survives at their home. Also surviving are her beloved children Jamie (Denise) Simcox of Streetsboro, Kelly (Jim) Fischer of Minnesota and Nichole Simcox of Kent, her dear siblings Dale Richards, Sue Beemer and Velma Banks all of Warren,Carol Hlaudy of Lake Milton, Lawrence Richards of Howland and Joann Travis of Akron and her 8 loving grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her brothers Leon Richards and Pete Richards. Calling hours will be Friday from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255, where her funeral service will be held Saturday June 20, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.
