AURORA
Melissa Ann Moonen, 43 years of age, of Aurora, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022. Born in West Bend, Wisconsin on March 30, 1979, she was the beloved daughter of Scott and Diana (Crabtree) Moonen. Melissa graduated from Duncan U. Fletcher High School in Jacksonville, Florida in 1997, and was presently attending Purdue University Global. For the past 3 years, she has been employed as a Team Lead at Walmart in Ravenna. She will forever be remembered for her love of working with children. Melissa is survived by her son Zachary Moonen, her parents Scott and Diana Moonen, her sister Holly (Moonen) Ebner, nieces Teagan and Lilly Ebner, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Henry and Joyce (Bush) Moonen, and Donald and Ruth (Quigley) Crabtree. No calling hours or services. Cremation has been held. In lieu of flowers, please donate in her memory to a local charity.
