Nicholas A. Cozzone's Obituary
GARRETTSVILLENicholas A. Cozzone, age 89 of Garrettsville, passed away Jan 18, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born Oct 24, 1923 in Cleveland to the late Antonio and Antonette (DeVila) Cozzone. Nicholas was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Garrettsville. He retired from the North Randall Police Department. He was a life-member of the FOP. Nicholas was a WWII veteran of the US Army, serving in the O.S.S. He married Hildegard (Huzel) Cozzone and she survives; also surviving are his two sons, Michael (Tammy) Cozzone of Hiram and Robert Cozzone of Norfolk, VA; his three daughters, Monica (Sam) Sebastian of Cape Coral, Fl, Donna (Peter) D'Attoma of Munroe Falls and Diane Cozzone of Twinsburg; he also has eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where prayers will be said Thursday at 10:15 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday Jan 24, 2013, 11:00 A.M. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church 10692 Freedom Street, Garrettsville with Rev. Leo Wehrlin officiating. Mr. Cozzone will be laid to rest at Park Cemetery, Garrettsville where full Military Honors will be presented by the U.S. Army Honor Guard assisted by American Legion Post No. 193
