Olena J. Doolittle's Obituary
GARRETTSVILLE Olena J. Doolittle, 74 years of age, passed away Saturday May 11, 2013 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio. Born in Calhoun County, West Virginia on December 20, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Ramsell and Roxie (Metz) Cottrill. A homemaker, she had been a resident of the Garrettsville and Windham areas the past 53 years. Mrs. Doolittle was a very active and faithful member of the Windham Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed reading and gardening, and her family and friends will forever remember her as a warm, giving, loving gentle spirited lady. On August 2, 1958, she married Raymond Doolittle, Sr. who survives at their home. Also surviving are her children Raymond Doolittle, Jr. of Garrettsville, Kathy (Rich) Waggoner of Windham and Linda Lovett of Newton Falls, brothers Jack and Bobby Cottrill of West Virginia, several dear sisters, 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Alfred and sister Velma. Funeral services will be Wednesday May 15, 2013 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Randy Kelley officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Final resting place will follow at Windham Township Cemetery.
