Olive H. Willett's Obituary
.STREETSBOROOlive H. Willett, 94 years of age, passed away Friday September 24, 2010 at her residence in Streetsboro. Born on April 10, 1916 in New Springfield, Ohio, Mrs. Willett was the daughter of the late Lee and Henrietta (Geiger) Seidner. A homemaker, she was a resident of the Austintown area for 50 years, moving to the Streetsboro-Mantua areas in 2001. Mrs. Willett was employed at Stambaugh-Thompson as head of the painting department, retiring in 1981. She was a longtime member of Brownlee Presbyterian Church and enjoyed gardening as a pastime. On September 6, 1941, Mrs. Willett married Joseph Willett who preceded her in death in 2002. Also preceding were her brothers Howard, Ralph, Larry, Paul and Galen Seidner; sisters Edith Crosbie, Erna Allen and Edna Bremer and 2 grandsons David J. Habeger in 1966 and James D. Habeger in 2007. Survivors include her daughter Kathleen (David) Habeger of Mantua, 1 grandson Robert (Teresa) Habeger and 7 great-grandchildren. No calling hours. A Memorial Service for Mrs. Willett will be Sunday October 17, 2010 2:00 P.M. at Portage Faith United Methodist Church with Rev. Carolyn Berry officiating. A time of fellowship will follow at the church. Mrs. Willett was laid to rest at Greenhaven Memorial Park in Canfield. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Crossroads Hospice 9775 Rockside Rd.,Valley View,Ohio 44125. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
