Pamela Jane Steinfurth's Obituary
Pamela Jane Steinfurth (nee Shepard), of Howard, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Sunday, February 11, 2024.
Pamela was born March 25, 1948 in Ravenna, Ohio to George Shepard and Betty Weaver Shepard (both deceased). Pamela was raised in Kent, Ohio and was a 1966 graduate of Kent Roosevelt High School. She was married to her husband Bruce from 1980-1987, and then again from 2001 until her passing.
Pamela loved her home and taking care of it. She also loved her plants, gardening, her pets, her goats, especially the babies, canning and freezing, knitting, jigsaw puzzles, Sudoku puzzles, making hay, making corn brooms and framing family pictures, but what she cherished the most was her kids, grandkids and family.
Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by a sister Connie Belknap, her son Ronald Bixler and a brother-in-law Daniel W. Leiter. She is survived by her husband Bruce Steinfurth; sons Jim and David Bixler; step-son Bruce Robert Steinfurth,; step-daughters Jennifer Steinfurth Wells and Carrie Steinfurth Ricker; many grandkids and great grandkids; a brother Kenneth Beatty and sisters Jan Leiter, Brenda Loomis and Georgene Armstrong. Pamela was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Friends may call at GREEN FUNERAL CARE 4668 PIONEER TRAIL (AT THE CORNER OF ST. RT. 44), MANTUA, OHIO ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2024 FROM 11 A.M. UNTIL TIME OF FUNERAL SERVICE AT 12 P.M. Interment to immediately follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Mantua, Ohio.
