Phillis J. Dillow's Obituary
AURORA-TROY TWP. Phyllis J. Dillow, 53 years of age, a longtime resident of Aurora and Troy Township, became Our Gift to God on Monday April 5, 2010 at her residence in Hiram. Phyllis was God's Gift to Us on February 24, 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of the late Thomas and Louise (Tayfel) Fabian. A graduate of Solon High School, Phyllis was employed as a hair dresser at First Impressions Salon in Solon for many years, following which she worked for Sirna & Sons Produce in Aurora for 10 years. Phyllis will be remembered as a hard worker, a lady who never gave up on anything and a grandmother whose grandchildren were her life. On April 16, 1986, she married Charles E. Dillow who survives at their home. Also surviving are her children Charles T. Dillow, Brenda (Jeff) Hrubik, Kerrianne (Brent) Derecsky all of Hiram and Monica (Patrick) Fuller of Youngstown; sisters Cindy (John) Sheehan and Janice (Roger) Vaughn both of Florida, Sandy Fabian of Hiram, Kris (Mick) Marshall of Florida and Francine (Rick) Marshall of Garrettsville and her grandchildren Jude, Julius, Jayce, Owen, Ella, Natalia and Grace. Funeral services will be Thursday April 8, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of her services. Phyllis will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Hiram with Charles T. Dillow, Brent Derecskey, Jeff Hrubik, Rick Marshall, Douglas Bair, John Sheehan and Dan Mendolera respectively acting as pallbearers.
