Phyllis A. Fulper, 81 years of age, passed away Sunday June 30, 2019 at University Hospital- Geauga regional Medical Center in Claridon Township, Ohio. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 18, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Loyal and Lydia (Hupcher) Gallagher. Formerly of Burton, Ohio, she had been a resident of Hiram since 1975. Phyllis was a member of Friendship Alliance Church of Chagrin Falls. She had been employed at Rockwell Automation in Twinsburg as a supervisor retiring in 1999. Phyllis enjoyed gardening, flowers, knitting, crocheting and doing puzzles, yet found great pleasure with her bible studies. She is survived by her son Phillip (Judy) Whaley of Hiram and daughter Rene Loomis of Willoughby, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Timothy Whaley, brother Ronald Gallagher and sister Loretta Boatwright. Calling hours will be Sunday July 7, 2019 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255 from 2:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M., where her funeral service will be held on Monday July 8, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. Final resting place will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Hiram, Ohio. Immediately following interment family and friends are invited to return to Friendship Alliance Church, 19126 Ravenna Road, Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44023 for a luncheon.
