Priscilla J. Skilton's Obituary
RAVENNAPriscilla J. Skilton, 72 years of age, passed away Wednesday May 13, 2015 at her residence. Born in Ravenna, Ohio on March 1,1943, she was the daughter of the late John and Beulah (Kasserman) Cale. A lifetime Ravenna resident, she had been employed at the Record Courier as a proof reader, following which she worked at Ravenna Floral and then at Sandy's Notions. Mrs. Skilton enjoyed tending to her floral gardens, bird watching, was avid in her knowledge of Genealogy, yet her most cherished times were those spent with her family and grandchildren whose love for each other will leave lasting memories. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ravenna. On March 10, 1962, she married her devoted husband Leroy Skilton who survives at their home. Also surviving are her beloved children Kevin (Sherree) Skilton and Shawn (Julie) Skilton both of Ravenna and Melanie (Bill) Turner of Lima, Ohio, her sister Eileen Scott of Ravenna, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Friday from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255. Funeral services will be Saturday May 16, 2015 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul Lutheran Church 170 North Freedom St. Ravenna, Ohio 44266 where visitation will also take place from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Officiating will be Pastor Daniel J. Caruso,Jr. Final resting place will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna.
