Ralph T. Flitcraft's Obituary
WINDHAM Ralph T. Flitcraft, 74 years of age, passed away Friday at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio. Ralph was born in Akron, Ohio on June 11, 1935, the son of the late Chester W. and Mabel (Lawrenson) Flitcraft. A longtime resident of Piqua and Windham, he was the owner-operator of Proto Mold Products in Piqua for 25 years. Ralph was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and believed in fighting for his country and lived his life as a "True American". He was a member of the Warren, Ohio Lodge of F.&A.M. Ralph enjoyed floral gardening, fishing in Canada and always found time to collect and share with children anything that could put a smile on their faces and bring enjoyment into their lives. Survivors include his son Craig Flitcraft of Piqua and daughter Pamela (Edward) Mercer of Otis Orchards, Washington; brother Paul (Carol) Flitcraft of West Farmington; sisters Carol Hurst, Susie (Maurice) Hankins and Sandy Pemperton all of Windham and his loving grandchildren Jessica and Joshua. He was preceded in death by his brothers Jack and Don Flitcraft and sisters Deloris Grayville and Linda Steiner. No calling hours. Ralph is being laid to rest at Graham Cemetery in Southington. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday April 10, 2010 from 9:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at his residence, 9022 North Main Street in Windham. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice in his name. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
