Rene' M. Ellis' Obituary
Rene' M. Ellis (nee Globokar), age 50, of Mantua Township, passed away peacefully, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Born December 31, 1973 in Warrensville Heights OH, she was the daughter of Robert L. Sr. and the late Corrine M. (Gavelek) Globokar.
She was a 1992 graduate of Garfield Heights High School and later moved to Mantua, Ohio with her family. In 1997 she married her beloved husband Scott Ellis who preceded her in death on May 24th, 2022.
Rene' enjoyed reading Stephen King novels, cooking, and raising two daughters. She loved being a mom.
Along with her mother Corinne, and her husband Scott, Rene' is also preceded in death by an infant sister, Michelle. She is survived by her two daughters, Kayla (Scott) Tayerle, of Mantua, and Samantha Ellis of Maine; A granddaughter Ava; her father Robert Globokar Sr.; a brother Robert Jr. (Jessica) of Mantua; nieces and nephews, Lillian, Robert III, Madelyn and Alexander (A.J.) and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held for close family and friends Sunday, December 29th 12pm-3pm at Corner's Catering and Event Center, 11845 SR-44, Mantua, OH 44255.
