Richard C. Henderson's Obituary
BAINBRIDGE TWP. Richard C. ?Rick? Henderson, 50 years of age, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia after a period of failing health. Born on July 3, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of Carles R. and Marilyn A. (Hackney) Henderson. A resident of Atlanta the past 21 years, Rick grew up in Bainbridge Township where he was a 1984 graduate of Kenston High School , and then attended Lakeland Community College. Rick was a member of the Bainbridge Community Church, and was self-employed with his cleaning business the past several years. Rick loved cars, and his care for others was reflected as a volunteer at the Dog Rescue in Atlanta, and running in marathons for both the Dog Rescue and the Cancer Pet Rescue, as well as giving to the local homeless agencies. He will forever be remembered as a caring son, brother, uncle and friend to so many. Survivors include his parents Carles and Marilyn Henderson of Chagrin Falls; his sister Carla Henderson of Mantua; nephews Richard and Jeffrey Kovacs, niece Danielle Forsyth, many other great nieces and great nephews, and loving family members, and his loving 4-legged children Lolli and Buzzy. Calling hours will be Thursday December 1, 2016 from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 Noon at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255, where his funeral service will begin at 12:00 Noon. Officiating will be Rev. Murray Bay of The Mantua Country Baptist Church. Final resting place will follow at Restland Cemetery, Bainbridge Township, Ohio.
