Richard "Ricky" Zuchowsky's Obituary
ATWATER Richard T. "Ricky" Zuchowsky, 58 years of age, passed away Saturday October 9, 2010 at the Hospice of Medina County in Medina, Ohio. Born on April 23, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Theodore and Cecilia (Stanec) Zuchowsky. Ricky grew up in Garfield Hts., and was a former resident of Shalersville, moving to Atwater 3 years ago. He was a former longtime member of St. Therese's Catholic Church in Garfield Hts. A truck driver, he had been employed at Hattendorf & Bliss and at Food Distribution Systems. Ricky enjoyed motorcycles, socializing and will always be remembered for his greeting to those he called or called him... "Partner". On March 20, 1976 he married Roberta L. "Robbie" (Hetzel) Zuchowsky who survives at their home. Also surviving is his son Joseph T. Zuchowsky at home; daughters Michelle L. (Jason Ball) Zuchowsky of Shalersville and Melissa A. (Brandon) Grenier of Indiana; his brother Robert ( Linda) Zuchowsky of Twinsburg and his sister Antoinette ( Ron ) Morton of California and his granddaughter Alexa Rebecca Donaldson. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where prayers will be said Thursday at 9:15 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday October 14, 2010 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mantua with Rev. Fr. Michael Garvey officiating. Ricky will be laid to rest at Aurora City Cemetery.
