Ricky Allen Haylett's Obituary
STREETSBORO Ricky Allen Haylett, 50 years of age, passed away Tuesday September 22, 2015 at University Hospital-Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. Ricky was born in Mantua, Ohio on May 23, 1965 the son of David and Cathy (Sullivan) Haylett. Ricky was the owner of The Guitar Shack Music Store in Streetsboro, Ohio and several other Music stores over the years in the northeast Ohio area. Ricky was a talented musician and respected for his knowledge of vintage musical instruments and equipment. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and customers. Survivors include his wife Christina (Crowder) Haylett of Streetsboro, whom he married on February 17, 2012, his father David Haylett of Mantua, Ohio, his sons Trevor and TJ Haylett both of Streetsboro, his brothers Kelly Haylett of Shalersville, Shawn (Lisa) Haylett of Nelson, and his step-children Donovan Svab, Jr. of Akron, Cameron Gomula of Georgia and James and Jessica Gomula both of Streetsboro. He was preceded in death by his mother Cathy Rood and step-mother Mary Haylett. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be Sunday September 27, 2015 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of State Route 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255. Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Animal Protective League would be appreciated.
