Bob spent a lot of time in my dad’s workshop. My dad liked to tell the story about Bob using a cuss word and me, at 3 years old, loudly and proudly repeating it. My dad pointed at Bob and told him since I listened so well to him, he could teach me my ABC’s and he did! I grew up to be an English teacher so I credit Bob with my love of language. He was the best in every way.
Bob was one of the nicest people I know and his family are truly the nicest also. Bob and his wife were my neighbors for 59 years and always as friendly as can be. Going to miss him honking the horn when I was in the yard and his gentle manner.
