Robert E Lee's Obituary
HIRAM Robert E. Lee, 74 years of age, passed away Wednesday March 4, 2015 at The Hospice Of The Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio. Born on June 25, 1940 at Geauga Lake, Ohio, he was the son of the late Henry and Edith (Carpenter) Lee. Bobby was a lifetime resident of the Hiram-Mantua area, and was a Crestwood School System graduate. He had been employed as a truck driver for Carlton Trucking, Lakeside Sand & Gravel, VSA and Sierra Trucking, and had also been employed in construction for Anchor Fence Company in Cleveland. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Brother Lee was a member of W.K. Ricksecker Lodge No. 0606 F.&A.M. in Aurora. Bobby enjoyed wood carving, tinkering with old tractors, and old cars which included working together with his son Michael on the restoration of a car. Family and friends will forever remember his spirit during those time of his illness, and that he was a friend to all. Survivors include his fiancAC.e Donna Spencer of Hiram, sons Robert E. (Diana) Lee of Garrettsville, Henry A. (Cheryl Denvir) Lee and Michael J. (Debbie) Lee both of Aurora, his brother Harry (Jackie) Lee of Twinsburg, grandchildren Chelsea, Brooke and Danielle and great-grandchild Carter. Preceding him in death were his siblings William Lee, Carol Garonnos, Betty Westergom, Phyllis Gardner and Patricia Ranc. Calling hours will be Sunday March 8, 2015 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255 from 1:00 P.M. -4:30 P.M. where Masonic Services will begin at 4:30 P.M.
