Robert M. Grubbs' Obituary
FREEDOM Robert M. Grubbs, 77 years of age, passed away Sunday September 3, 2017.
Born in Huntsburg, Ohio on January 6, 1940, he was the son of the late Theodore and Ann (Martin) Grubbs.
A resident of the Freedom area since 1976, he grew up in Geauga County and farmed in Huntsburg on the family farm that was started by his grandparents. He later was employed at Swagelok from 1984 until his retirement after 20 years of service.
He was an avid fan of all Cleveland sports teams, and truly loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children Scott (Kim) Grubbs and Denise (Arthur) Williams both of Garrettsville and Michael Grubbs of Coco Beach, Florida. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren Elizabeth, Alex, Josh and Zach.
He was preceded by his wife Donna Grubbs in 1984.
No calling hours. Cremation has been held. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
