Robert "Bobby" Zamrzla's Obituary
Robert "Bobby" M. Zamrzla, 78, of Garrettsville, (formerly of Mayfield Hts.) passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at UH Geauga Medical Center after a brief illness. Born on April 5, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Gerald and Cecilia (Higgins) Zamrzla.
Bobby attended the Mayfield Heights School District and spent his entire adult life as a dedicated employee until his retirement. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he found great joy in attending church. Bobby cherished spending time with family and friends, often traveling, and he loved sharing coffee and conversation with those closest to him. Dining out and socializing were among his favorite pastimes, making every moment with loved ones special.
He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his siblings, Jerry Zamrzla and Priscilla Behnke. He is survived by his brothers, Charles Zamrzla and Michael Zamrzla, along with many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Bobby also leaves behind his devoted caregiver, Michelle Ward-Clayton, whose compassionate care enriched his life.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Green Funeral Care, 4668 Pioneer Trail (at the corner of St. Rt. 44), Mantua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mantua (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Bobby will be laid to rest at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
Bobby will be remembered for his kindness, unwavering faith, and the joy he brought to those around him.
