Roberta Moulder Fox's Obituary
Roberta Moulder "Bobbie" Fox, 97 years of age, passed away Friday February 18, 2011 peacefully at the home of her daughter surrounded by family and friend. Mrs. Fox was born on February 13, 1914 in Habana, Cuba of American parents. The daughter of the late George H. and Maude Alice (Greene) Moore. She received her education in Habana, Cuba, following which she graduated from business school and worked for Dun and Bradstreet. A resident of Cleveland Hts., the past four years, she formerly lived in High Point, North Carolina since 1954, where she was employed as a translator for Children Protective Services until her 92nd. Year. While residing in High Point, she was active in various organizations including the National Society Daughters of American Colonists, Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames of the XVII Century, War of 1812, Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims, and forefather member of the Swedish Colony. She was formerly a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Thomasville, North Carolina, Archdale Library and the Pilot Club where she initiated and supervised a Homebound Teaching Program. Mrs. Fox was the first woman to be honored by the High Point Enterprise's "Woman of the Week", the first distaff Board member of the House of Prayer for Alcoholics and the only distaff Board member of the Army Reserve Committee in High Point. She will always be remembered for her joy and sense of mission in helping and mentoring others, as a person who would be a caretaker for anyone who needed it, a problem solver and a person so humbly assisted all she came to know in her life. Survivors include her son James Fox of High Point, North Carolina and her daughter Kathryn (Heath) Reinhardt of Shaker Hts., Ohio, her grandchildren Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Estep, Scollard Reinhardt and Katrina (Bart) Taylor, great-grandchild Calvin Dow, her sister Elizabeth Hernandez of Camaquey, Cuba and many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband James Russell Fox, her sister Felice Delgado and brother George Harding Moore. No calling hours. A memorial service will be Tuesday March 1, 2011 7:00 P.M. at St. Paul's Church in Cleveland Hts., Ohio. Final resting place will be at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery in Greensboro, North Carolina. In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make a contribution in her name to the charity of their choice. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, Ohio.
