I worked with Roger many years ago and considered him a great friend. For some reason I had been thinking of him a lot lately, so today I tried to locate him when I came across this obituary. I am so saddened by his passing and regret that I had not tried to reconnect long ago.Rest in peace my friend.

Psalms 34:18 says JEHOVAH is close to the brokenhearted. He saves those who are crushed in spirit. 2nd. Corinthians 1:3&4 says - Praise be the GOD and father of our Lord Jesus Christ. The father of tender mercies and the GOD of all comfort who comforts us in all our trials.

He felt love and I held his hand as he passed. He is at peace now.
My heart is heavy for Roger today. I feel a lot of conflicting emotions with this news. I forgave Roger years ago for the heartache he presented to both me and my son. My son is mentioned in the obituary as his surviving son. Roger was more like a friend than a father to my son. I know that when Roger decided to break all ties with my son, it broke his heart. With that being said, I hope Roger finds peace now. I hope he is with his mom, dad, brother and sister and that family is restored in him. I hope that someone was by his side when he passed and that he felt loved. I hope that wherever he is now, he is receiving love and returning love. God Bless Roger.
