Ronald Lee's Obituary
GARRETTSVILLE-WINDHAM-FREEDOM Ronald Eugene Lee, 75 years of age, went home to be with his Lord on Monday October 3, 2016 with his wife Dorothy at his side, at their home in Garrettsville, Ohio. Ronald was born on April 28, 1941 in Carter City, Kentucky the son of the late William Earl and Eileen Mabel Hardyman. He grew up in Carter City, Kentucky surrounded by the beautiful mountains and caves he loved all of his life.A longtime resident of Cleveland, Ohio, he worked for National Car Rental as a photographer. During the Viet Nam Era, he served in the U.S. Navy Special Forces. An area resident the past 26 years, he was an avid photographer and fisherman, and blessed his family with beautiful portraits and photographs, enjoyed tying and using creative fishing lures, and spending time with his family and friends on the farm on Gotham Road. He epically enjoyed teaching ? The Farm Kids? about horses, farming and life as they spent with him and Dorothy. Survivors include his beloved wife Dorothy (Green) Lee at home, daughters Melissa (Josh) Wilde of Garrettsville and Oryisa Lee of Cleveland, Ohio, brother John Lee, grandchildren Summer, Kara and Ethan Wilde, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his step-father Emil Kubik who loved him as his own son, and his son Ryan Arthur Lee. Calling hours will be Thursday October 6, 2016 from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. in the Chapel of The Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua. A Memorial Service will be held Friday October 7, 2016, 4:00 P.M. at the Hiram Christian Church with Rev. Dr. Charlene Moss officiating. Final resting place will be at Fairview Cemetery, Hiram, Ohio.
