Ronnie Lee Smith's Obituary
RAVENNA Ronnie Lee Smith, 48 years of age, passed away Wednesday October 19, 2011 at his residence. Born on September 5, 1963 in Paw Paw, Michigan, he was the son of Willie Lee and Jessie Mae (Cross) Smith.A resident of Ravenna the past 11 years, Ron had formerly been employed at Extreme Elements in Mogadore as a concrete finisher, and the past 5 years as an Amish taxi driver. Ron loved working and restoring classic cars following which he would sell them. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Ron held a strong believe in his Pentecostal faith all through his life which helped him in many difficult times. On October 9, 1999, he married Deborah "Debby" (Thrasher) Smith who survives at their home. Also surviving are his children Chester Kubinec of Ravenna, Joseph (Emily) Kubinec of Brimfield and Michelle ( Joe Donahue) Kubinec of Niles, Ohio, his mother Jessie Mae Wollard of Homosassa, Florida, brothers Gary "Huggy" Smith, Bobby Smith and Robin " Junior" Smith all of Florida, sisters Charlotte Ruff, Shelia and Karen Feeney all of Florida, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Willie Lee Smith. No calling hours or services. Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will be held in Florida. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
