RoseMary Sevc, age 92, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024. Loving mother of Steve (Mary) Sevc Jr., of Garrettsville, Danny Sevc of West Palm Beach, FL., Sharon Ketchum of Shalersville, Maryellen Griffin (the late Russell) of Shalersville, Gary (Tricia) Sevc of Hiram, and the late Tom Sevc. Sister of Katie Koval (the late Joe), JoAnn (Ron) Novak, Karon Mahoney (the late Frank) and the late Coletta Pejsa (the late Chuck), Betty Lou Maruschak (the late Johnny) and Frank Mahoney. Daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Barry) Mahoney. Dear Grandmother of Mallory, Michelle, Brian, Danny, Meghan, Logan, Lydia and Nick. Great Grandmother of Vivian. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
RoseMary was a graduate of Holy Name High School in Cleveland. Steve and RoseMary raised six children in Garfield, Maple Hts., and finally settled in Mantua in 1974 where they became members of St. Joseph School and Parish. She was a supervisor at Automated Packaging in Streetsboro for more than twenty years, retiring in 1997.
She enjoyed numerous hobbies and interests that included reading, cooking, painting, coloring, ice skating, roller skating, dancing and music stemming from her history of being a pianist for Holy Name.
VISITATION WILL BE TUESDAY, APRIL 30, 2024 FROM 3-7pm at GREEN FUNERAL CARE, 4668 PIONEER TR., MANTUA. FUNERAL MASS WEDNESDAY, MAY 1, 2024 at 11am at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 11045 ST. JOSEPH BLVD., MANTUA. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Shalersville.
