Russell W. Rinta's Obituary
FAYETTEVILLE, TENN.Russell W. Rinta, 62 years of age of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday December 15, 2009 in Huntsville, Alabama following a brief illness. Russell was born in Akron, Ohio on December 4, 1947, the son of the late Walter and Helen (Mays) Rinta. A graduate of Woodridge High School, he grew up and lived in the Peninsula area for many years. Formerly of Columbia Station, he had lived in Hernando Florida for 11 years and presently had been a Fayetteville resident the past 8 years. Russell had owned and operated his towing and automotive business in Peninsula, a beverage store in Cuyahoga Falls and operated rental properties in Florida and Tennessee, as well as presently operating Green Acres Farm in Fayetteville, where he raised Maltese and Yorkshire dogs. Russell loved his family, animals, vintage cars and large equipment. A very unique and well loved man, he was grown up little boy playing with his toys. There never was a sweeter, better man who will be missed very much by his family and friends. He is survived by his lifetime love, Roberta Elftman at their home; his children Timothy (June) Elftman of Cincinnati, Eric (Nada) Elftman of Tampa, Florida, Gwen (Kary) Daniels of Ocala, Florida, Serena (Mat) Mollenkops of Anchorage, Alaska and Michelle Elftman of Las Vegas, Nevada; 7 grandchildren; his cousins Eugene Dunlap of Rootstown and Rose (Joseph) Marchesi of Auburn Township and many loving friends and relatives. Calling hours will be Sunday December 20, 2009 from 3:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, ST. Rt. 44 at the corner of Pioneer Trail, Mantua, Ohio where funeral services will be held Monday December 21, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Rob Henderson of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Bainbridge Township officiating.
