Sandra Jean Brown's Obituary
Obituary
STREETSBORO
Sandra Jean “Sandy” Brown, 78 years of age, of Streetsboro, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 31, 2022
She was born on June 27, 1943 on an Army base in Tennessee to the late Eugene Olan and Anna Belle (McEwuen) Davis. She graduated from James A. Garfield High School in Garrettsville in 1961, and then Bohecker’s Business College in Ravenna.
Her professional career included being an administrative assistant at Kent State University and Hiram College, but her first love was always her family. She married James A. Brown from Mantua and bravely faced the daunting task of raising their three rambunctious boys.
Sandy was a faithful member of His Ministry Church where she sang in the choir for nearly five decades. She loved cooking and gardening; her beautiful roses always brightened the neighborhood.
Sandy is survived by her husband, James Alexander Brown; her sons Todd (Mickey Shah), Greg (Monica) and Brian; her grandchildren Adrianna Brown, Britton Brown, Justin Popovich, Zachary Brown, Brandon Brown, and Hayden Brown; and her brother William (Sandy) Davis. She is preceded in death by her brother James Davis.
A celebration of her life will be held at Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44. Mantua, Ohio, 44255, on Saturday April 23, 2022 at 2:30PM with visitation starting at 2:00PM. Final resting place will be at Hillside Cemetery, Mantua Village, Ohio.
