Sandra J. Skarupa's Obituary
NEWBURY-TROY TWP. Sandra J. (Sandy) Skarupa, 81 years of age, passed away Saturday April 22, 2017 in Aurora, Ohio. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 20, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Dorothy (Zellers) Ames. Sandy was a longtime resident of Newbury, following which resided in Troy Township. A dedicated professional realtor, she had been employed at Century 21 Petersen Realty in Chesterland for 20 years. Sandy was devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren where her love for them, and their love for her, have created lasting memories never to be forgotten. On December 18, 1953, she married Louis Skarupa who preceded her in death on July 6, 2015. She also was preceded in death by her granddaughter Peggy Clayman in 2007. Survivors include her children Scott Cory ( Barb) Skarupa of Shalersville, Jilann (Bob Rapp) Deabler of Swedsboro, New Jersey and Penny Anspach of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; her sister Jacquelin Roy of Painesville, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Lindsey Anspach, Laurel Anspach, Chris (Valerie) Deabler, Kaitlyn Deabler and Nicole Meehan. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be Sunday April 30, 2017 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255 from 1:00 P.M.-2:30 P.M., where her memorial service will begin at 2:30 P.M. with Pastor Robert Henderson of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Bainbridge officiating.
