Sherry L. Taylor's Obituary
HIRAM-WINDHAMSherry L. Taylor, 57 years of age, passed away Thursday May 5, 2016 at UH-Geauga Medical Center in Clairdon Township, Ohio. Born in Clairdon Township, Ohio on September 7, 1958, she was the daughter of Charles and Janet (Taylor) Armistead. A longtime resident of Windham, she moved to Hiram in 2012. Sherry was a graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School and for many years was employed in manufacturing in both Trumbull and Portage counties. An avid bowler, she also enjoyed gambling as a pastime, yet her most special times were those spent with her grandchildren. On December7, 1979, she married her beloved husband Jeffery B. Taylor who survives at their home. Also surviving are her children Cliffton (Michele) Taylor of Windham, Stephanie (Robert) Cline of Hiram and Theresa (Charles) Knight of West Union, West Virginia; her mother Janet Taylor and her siblings William (Judi) Armistead, Dan (Sheri) Armistead and Pam (Cliff) Baker, all of Warren and 9 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and her sister Brenda Glenn. No calling hours. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her Life will be held Saturday May 14, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at 10008 Nichols Road, Windham, Ohio. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
