MANTUA
Simon Francis Tulley, Jr., 83 years of age, of Mantua, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 13, 1938, he was the son of the late Simon F. and Dessie (Poteet) Tulley, Sr. He was a 1957 graduate of East High School in Cleveland, and was a Mantua area resident since 1960. Mr. Tulley had been a faithful employee at Chrysler Stamping Plant in Twinsburg, retiring in 1997. Hunting, fishing, an avid sports fan, gambling, and watching the History Channel were some of his favorite pastimes, and will be remembered as a true “Connoisseur” of donuts. For several years he also was a Hot Stove League coach. On October 22, 1960, he married Rae Darlene Tulley, who preceded him in death on July 8, 2018. Survivors include his children, Darren (Renee) Tulley, and Kim (Jeff) Kulesza, both of Mantua, Lisa (Dwight) Childs of Newbury; his brother Gregory (Jan) Tulley of Macedonia; 8 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death was his sister Linda Kulka. Calling hours will be Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255, from 5:00 P.M.-6:30 P.M., where his funeral service will then begin with Rev.
