Susan Cermak's Obituary
Susan M. Cermak, 53 years of age, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012 at her residence. Susan was born in Ravenna, Ohio on July 17, 1958, the daughter of the late William and Marie (Auth) Criblez. A homemaker, Susan was a lifetime area resident, and a graduate of the Crestwood School System. Susan enjoyed sewing and baking, yet she will always be remembered for her very social, outgoing way with her friends and family, having fun and for being a lady with a heart of gold who would help anybody in any situation. Those who have had the privilege to know her in life will forever carry the friendships she made with them. On March 19, 1978, she married Richard O. Cermak who survives at their home. Also surviving are her children Daniel Cermak of Garrettsville and Marina (John) Cheatham of Streetsboro, her siblings Norman (Teresa) Criblez and William (Karen) Criblez both of Garrettsville and Debbie (Norm) Hart of Red Oak, Texas, many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and her 4-legged grandchildren Titan, Joey and Dakota. Susan is also survived by her best friend and devoted caregiver, Mary Kay Slagle of Shalersville , who was there for Susan at all times and to whom her family would like to extend a very special thank you to. Susan's family also appreciates the wonderful care provided by the Hospice of Robinson Memorial Hospital throughout her illness and their help will never be forgotten.Calling hours will be Tuesday April 10, 2012 from 6:00 P.M.-7:30 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where her funeral services will begin at 7:30 P.M. Cremation will follow with a private family burial.
