Talford Hedge's Obituary
Talford Espy Hedge, 89, of Windham, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 3rd, 2025. Born on August 23, 1935, in Woodvale, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Espy H. Hedge and Nellie (Everhart) Hedge.
A 1954 graduate of Tussey Mountain High School, Talford married his high school sweetheart, Jean Jones, on November 20, 1954. They shared over 66 wonderful years of marriage until her passing on February 11, 2021. Together, they raised eight children who were the focus of their lives: Christopher (Kim) Hedge of Ravenna, David Hedge of Newton Falls, Diane (Dave) Krupansky of Windham, Michael Hedge of Windham, Linda (Bruce) Rininger of Windham, Carol Hedge of Randolph, Lisa (Donald) Corbin of Windham, and Lori (Mike) Whan of Hiram and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. He was a loving father and grandfather.
Talford was a hardworking and devoted man who spent more than 40 years as an electrician for the Ford Motor Company in Bedford, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Jean; his parents; brothers Willis Everhart, Howard Hedge, and Frank Hedge; and sisters Frances Kuklo, Esta Springer, and Delores Hedge.
Talford’s legacy lives on in his family and the many lives he touched.
