My grandfather was the closest thing to a dad I had growing up. He was my dad. He was a hard working man stubborn tough and rugged. But kind and caring and honest. A family man. I'll always remember ambling with Bruce and my grandpa in the office. And the candy apples every year. Or when he called me out of school 41 times in the 1st grade every Friday to go road running. I love you grandpa you'll always be remembered for the great man that you are.

I've been with my dad pretty much all my life. Except for short period of time when I was with my mom. I remember one night my mom and her boyfriend at the time we're fighting and it was physical. I remember running to the phone picking it up dialing my dad's phone number not sure if he answered but I screamed dad and my mom's boyfriend snatched the phone away from me. I ran downstairs to my neighbor's house she had her door open and let me in I called my dad's from there 10 minutes later he was there maybe not even not even 10 minutes. He was my protector. I love him and will always miss him
