Theresia Klemm's Obituary
HIRAM Theresia Klemm, 96 years of age, passed away Saturday September 9, 2017 in Troy Township, Ohio. Born in Serbia on November 10, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Christian and Apollonia (Basler) Wolfli. A homemaker, Mrs. Klemm had been a resident of the Hiram area since 1965. She was a longtime member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Garrettsville where she was active with the Alter & Rosary Society. While she enjoyed sewing, gardening and baking, the times she spent watching her grandchildren brought many special moments into her life. On November 21, 1939, she married Josef Klemm who preceded her in death in 1990. Also preceding her was one daughter Notburga Kohler in 2005. Survivors include her children Helmuth (Roswitha ) Klemm of St. Peters, Missouri, Stefan Klemm of St. Paul, Minnesota, Ingeborg (Gary) Carpenter of Powell, Ohio and Adelheid (Robert) Simsa of Hiram, Ohio. 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren also survive. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday September 14, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church 10692 Freedom St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH). Officiating will be Rev. Steve Zeigler. Final resting place will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Hiram, Ohio.
