Todd Randall Griswold's Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Todd Randall Griswold, who passed away on June 23, 2026, at the age of 62.
Born on July 9, 1963, in Ravenna, Ohio, Todd spent most of his life in Mantua. He shared nearly 40 years with the love of his life, Christine. Together they built a beautiful family and were blessed with 28 years of marriage. He was the cherished son of Tom and Margaret (Clarence), loving brother of Tom (Barb), devoted father to Jessica, Trevor, Brittany (Matt), Christopher (Kate), Elizabeth (Josh), and Brady, and an incredibly proud grandfather to Andrew, Caleb, Isabelle, Silas, Jaxson, Asher, and Kaiden.
Todd dedicated much of his career to the factory, where he wore many hats over the years, but proudly served as a union steward. More than any title he held, he became a trusted voice for his brothers and sisters. If someone needed help, guidance, or someone willing to stand up for them, Todd was the person they turned to, and he never hesitated to fight for what he believed was right.
His family often joked that Todd had nine lives, and for good reason. Through heart attacks, a stroke, cancer, and countless other obstacles, he never stopped fighting. He refused to let life's hardships define him or steal his spirit. Even while battling cancer, he was outside just weeks before his passing building a chicken coop-because quitting simply wasn't who he was.
Outside of work, Todd loved cars, classic rock, and spending time in his garage, usually with the music turned up while juggling what seemed like a hundred different projects at once. He was hardworking, generous, and always willing to lend a helping hand or teach someone something new. His quick wit, stubborn determination, and ability to make a friend out of just about anyone left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Above all else, Todd loved his family. They were his greatest pride, and he showed that love not only in words but in everything he did.
If you knew Todd, chances are you also heard him say, "Love ya, brotha." It was more than a goodbye-it was simply who he was. Whether you were family, a lifelong friend, or someone he'd just met, he had a way of making people feel welcome, valued, and loved.
In the final chapter of his life, Todd found comfort and strength in his faith. After a lifetime of fighting every obstacle placed before him, he finally found peace, knowing he was going home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Though his fight here is over, his legacy lives on through his family, the lessons he taught, the people he stood beside, and the countless lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and unwavering strength.
Love ya, brotha.
