Veronica L. Kasovich's Obituary
Veronica L. Kasovich, age 89 of Mantua Twp., passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at the Anna Maria of Aurora. Born December 11, 1935 in Grindstone, PA., she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Chokota) Kosarek.
On November 5, 1955 Veronica married her beloved husband Joseph D. Kasovich who preceded her in death on June 10, 2002.
Veronica was a longtime parishioner at St. Joseph Church, and volunteered in the lunchroom at St. Joseph School, and was retired from Container Corp in Solon, Ohio. She enjoyed traveling with friends, and her trips to the "Library" (aka Casino) with her friend Ruby. She enjoyed working with flowers, had a passion for animals and was an Avid Guardians fan.
Veronica is survived by her 5 daughters, Pam (Dean A. Sr.) Stebbins of Mantua, Helen (Del) Stamm of Mantua, Mary Jo (Jim) Bailey of Bradenton, Fl, Darlene (David) Fedor of Mantua and Lorie (Dave) Kattler of Mantua, and a granddaughter Kassandra Fedor (Nick Jenkins).
Family and friends may gather for visitation on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Green Funeral Care, 4668 Pioneer Trail, Mantua from 5-7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 11045 St. Joseph Blvd., Mantua at 11 am. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will immediately follow at Westlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Portage County APL, 8122 Infirmary Rd., Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
