Victoria B. Dameron's Obituary
Victoria B. Dameron, age 82 of Kent, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Saturday, March 1, 2025 at The Tamarack Ridge Health and Rehab Center. Born April 14, 1942 in Lynchburg, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late George and Stella Richardson.
Victoria was a graduate of Steubenville Big Red High School and later attended Jefferson Community College, earning a degree as a Certified Nursing Assistant. During her career, she worked as a Traveling Nurse for Jefferson County and as a CNA for Labelle Nursing Home for over 30 years. In 1984 she married her beloved husband, William Anthony Dameron Jr. who preceded her in death on February 14, 1996. Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her brothers Arthur Jones, Robert Johnson and James Lewis.
She is survived by her daughters Joy Freeman (husband Phillip) of Kent, Ohio, Angela Jones (husband Robert Sr.) of Canton, Michigan and Charlyn Brown (husband Lawrence) of Akron, Ohio; grandchildren Nia L. Jones, Phillip W. Freeman, Robert L. Jones II, Sylvester E. Freeman and Jacob D. Freeman; a brother Uncle Joe Jones (wife Carol) of Wintersville, Ohio, and a host of great grandkids, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A private family viewing for immediate family will be held at Green Funeral Care.
A Celebration of Life Dinner for family and friends will be held at Upper Room Ministries, 3090 State Rt. 59, Ravenna, Ohio 44266 on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 2:30 - 5:00 PM.
