Virginia M. Humphrey's Obituary
STREETSBORO Virginia M. Humphrey, 80 years of age, passed away Monday June 27, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Humphrey was born on January 12, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of the late John and Mae Russin.A longtime resident of Bedford Hts., she had resided in Streetsboro the past 10 years. Mrs. Humphrey was employed for 28 years as a cashier at Heinen's in Aurora from where she retired, and was a member of Local 880 for 35 years. She was a member of the 1st. Congregational Church in Twinsburg. She enjoyed crocheting and the making of Afghans. On June 4, 1949, she married Thomas J. Humphrey, Sr. who survives at their home. Also surviving are her children Thomas J. (Michal) "Mickey" Humphrey, Jr. of Shalersville, Mary (James) McCauley of Fort Collins, Colorado and Alice Humphrey of Savannah, Ohio, her brother Norman Russin of Pennsylvania, her sister Millie Freiling of Twinsburg and 7 grandchildren. No calling hours or services. Cremation has been held, and a private family burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
