Virginia Stansberry's Obituary
MANTUA Virginia Stansberry, 84 years of age, became Our Gift to God on Monday October 13, 2014 at Maison Aine in Stow, Ohio. Virginia was God's Gift to Us on September 24, 1930 in Moatsville, West Virginia, the daughter of the late George W. and Estelle (Gross) Moore. Formerly of Stow, Ohio, she had been a resident of the Mantua area since 2000. Virginia was a very active member of His Ministry church where she sang in the church choir, and provided her loving guidance to her church in any way possible. Her smile and love of God will forever be remembered by all who came to know her. A homemaker, she enjoyed crafts, crocheting, sewing, cooking and making her homemade bread. On January 13, 1951, she married Kenneth L, Stansberry whose passing took place on June 22, 1999. Survivors include her children Randy (Janet) Stansberry of Tallmadge, Kevin (Vici) Stansberry of Mantua, Brian (Elizabeth) Stansberry of Rootstown, Tracy Stansberry of Euclid and Mark Stansberry of Dublin, Ohio. Her sister Maxine Kendall of Morgantown, West Virginia, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren also survive. Calling hours will be Wednesday October 15, 2014 from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at His Ministry, 3051 St. Rt. 82, Aurora, Ohio 44202, where her Homecoming Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Atkins and Associate Pastor Kevin Stansberry officiating. Burial will take place on Thursday October 16, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna, Ohio. (Everyone Please Meet At The Cemetery). Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
