MANTUA
Wilbur J. Lott, 79 years of age, passed away Thursday October 29, 2020 at his residence. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 14, 1941, he was the son of the late Bernard and Delena (Barr) Lott. A resident of the Mantua area since 1978, he had been employed as a crane operator at Ford Motor Company, Walton Hills, retiring after 30 years of service. During the Viet Nam Era he served his country in the U.S. Army. Mr. Lott enjoyed working on old cars, making and collecting model cars, and had developed a large collection of O Gauge Trains, some dating back to his boyhood days. Both Wilbur, and his wife Christine loved traveling together including to flea markets and auctions, and had a keen knowledge of where the best restaurant buffets could be found. On November 3, 1963, he married Christine (Derby) Lott who survives at their home. He is also survived by his sons William Lott of Hiram, and Michael Lott of Louisville, Kentucky; his daughter Marcia (Bob) Szarka of Shalersville; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Mr. Lott was preceded in death by his daughter Carol (Husband Ralph) Milburn. No calling hours or services. Cremation has been held.
