Willard D. Belknap's Obituary
Willard D Belknap, 54 years of age of Garrettsville, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 14 2024 at his home in Nelson. Born on July 8, 1969 in Ravenna, Ohio, he was the son of the late Delmos and Gail (Hembree) Belknap.
Willard worked in a machine shop and was a talented woodworker and lived in Garrettsville his whole life. He was a man of many talents, whether it was drawing, crafting beautiful furniture out of wood, or even soothing his grandkids to sleep with his famous rendition of Swing Low, Sweet Chariot. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, helping family and friends with home improvement projects, and getting running hugs from his grandchildren. He was generous with his time and love, always.
Willard is survived by his loving children Matthew (Emily) Belknap of Garrettsville and Ashley (Tony) Belknap of Mogadore. He is also survived by his siblings Gary Belknap, Loretta Belknap and Wanda (Adam) Bly all of Garrettsville, his significant other, Jan Randlett of Garrettsville, and his beloved grandchildren Douglas and Jack Belknap, and Makayla, Kenny, and Jadon Randlett.
No calling hours or services are planned, cremation has been held. A celebration of life will be held soon at a date to be determined.
