MANTUA
William John Stahl, 91 years of age, passed away Tuesday July 23, 2019 at Troy Township, Ohio. Born in Trimble, Ohio on October 17, 1927, he was the son of the late Carl and Elsie (Grimm) Stahl. A former resident of Ashtabula and Geneva, Mr. Stahl had been employed as a plant manager at RMI in Ashtabula, and then at Advanced Technology in Geneva. He was a former member of the First Christian Church. Mr. Stahl was very active as a volunteer with the American Red Cross, and Meals on Wheels, and enjoyed traveling, gardening and doing home repairs in his free time. Survivors include his son Roger (Melissa) Stahl of Mantua and daughter Judith (Tom) Hulme of Lake City, Florida; brothers Richard (Connie) Stahl of Dayton, Ohio and David Stahl of Columbus, Ohio; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Ann Stahl in 2008, son John Stahl, and sisters Dorothy Stahl, Mary Beard and Irene Stahl. No calling hours or services. Cremation has been held.
