MANTUA William M. Young, Jr. 70 years of age of Mantua, passed away Thursday March 5, 2009 at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital. Bill was born on JanA?uary 24, 1939 in Ravenna, Ohio the son of William M. and Betty M. (Reynard) Young, Sr. A lifetime resident of the Hiram and Mantua areas, he was emA?ployed the past 18 years as a dump truck driver for Ronyak Bros. Paving in Burton, Ohio. Bill was a U. S. Navy veteran. Bill drove truck all over the United States enjoying his overland driving as a passion. He was an avid sports fan including NASCAR Racing and was a true "Animal Lover". On April 15, 1987 he married Candace M. "Candy" (Cline) Young who survive at their home. He is also survived by his children James (Amy) MacLearie and Heather (Brian) Sara both of Mantua, Amy (Dan) Galvin of Kent, Tracy Young, Teresa Alfrey and Billy Jean Young all of California, Sandi Neumann of Dayton and Christina Young of Missouri. His brother Randy Killey and sister Roberta (Lee) Zuver both of Hiram and sister Vanessa (Doug) Mayer of North Carolina and 13 grandchildren also survive. Bill is also survived by his 4-legged children Samantha, Alfie, Tigger and Henry. He was preceded in death by his father William M. Young, Sr., his mother Betty M. Reynard-Killey, his brother Jack Killey and several loving 4-legged children. Visitation will be Sunday March 8, 2009 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where funeral services will begin at 3:00 P.M. Full military honors for Bill will be conducted on Sunday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services and Bill will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Hiram.
