NEWTON FALLS-MANTUA
Yolanda Grubaugh, 74 years of age, died Wednesday August 14, 2019 at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 18, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (Tacas) Benedek. Yolanda had owned her beauty shop in Mantua, and was the former owner-operator of the Railside Bar & Grill in Mantua for many years. She later was the manager of the bakery and deli at the IGA in Garrettsville, and then worked at Beck’s Farm in Aurora for several years. She will always be remembered for her friendly smile and warm way with customers. Survivors include her devoted son John (Kelly) Grubaugh of Ravenna, her longtime loving companion Ronald Dean at their home, grandchild Devin White, 3 great-grandchildren, and many caring nieces and nephews. No calling hours or services. Cremation has taken place.
