My Uncle David was one of the hardest working individuals I ever knew. He also was never ashamed of the Gospel and spoke openly and often about his love for Jesus. When I was a senior in high school, Uncle David and family drove me to Kansas to check out the Kansas State architecture school, a big sacrifice of their time and money, for which I am grateful. On the way, he talked about his morning time in the word of God and drove me around Manhattan, KS to look for churches for me to attend. At the time I wasn't walking with Jesus, but it made a big impact on me, and the next year in college I committed my life to Christ. David was always a good example of a godly man in my life. I know he is with Jesus right now, and I thank God for him.
