George was definitely the funniest person I ever knew. I know he loved Laurie (aka Louie) and was very proud of his family. No one could tell a story better than George. I am going to miss his friendly smile and genuine wave as I drive past his house and see him relaxing on his beautiful porch. George will definitely be missed but never forgotten.
We met George after my uncle Larry passed away, when we met up with the guys at the cabin in May for their annual trip. We loved getting to hear George's stories of Larry, the cabin, and all the shenanigans that went on. I am sad we only got to know him for a short time, but forever grateful for the memories we got to make with him! He will certainly be missed and most definitely never forgotten.

There too many to count! Got the epilepsy 😂! Sean Connery SNL impression! His sarcastic wit was unmatched! So many laughs and memories that will be a part of me for the rest of my life. Thank you, George for letting me share in your life.
On an August weekend while entertaining 13 guests for a class reunion, our pool toy unknowingly blew away from our yard into George's. The next afternoon we heard a four-wheeler approaching to see this and we all bust out laughing. George told us that he and Laurie sit outside every morning drinking coffee watching for deer, bunnies, coyotes, etc. and they were surprised to see a "freaking llama". The memory of his return of the toy has brought my friends and I to tears each time we think of it and the toy has forever since been named "George". So lucky to have known and lived so close to one of the funniest, kindest and most genuine people ever.
George made me laugh before work and after work in the locker room! Specialy after work when he'd tell me he was going home to mow grass with his 12 pack of beer!
