I'm so deeply heartbroken to hear of my friend Jayne's passing. I live in another state and had been very busy with the passing of my mother & brother who died within days of each other, Jayne was so loving and supportive to me through their passing, but also she was there through my terrible illness(s). She would stay on the phone with me which was so incredible because I know it was very hard to listen to me when I was scared and in pain, but she was always there, listening, consoling, advising and praying... She would sing beautiful hymns to me, which had me in tears many times...how kind her heart was.
I have told my family and friends that Jayne is an Angel to me, like she was to so many. She was always driving friends to doctors appointments, praying and concerned about them, helping at church, helping the children at vacation bible schools. She had such love for the dear children in Mozambique, Africa from her mission trips. She loved everyone & spoke lovingly of her cousin Dave often; I was planning on seeing her soon when she came to town as we live near him.
She loved to talk about the Lord and when she spoke of the Glory of Jesus Christ, you felt His presence lightning up the atmosphere!! She was truly a strong, faithful, wonderful, beloved Christian woman, I will miss her dearly. She sang in Katherine Kuhlman's choir in this life; now she is singing with the Angel Choirs of Heaven in her sweet beautiful voice...I can only imagine seeing her face light up with total adoration & happiness when she sees our Lord Jesus Christ!!!
God bless you sweet sister in Christ. - Karen Kennedy
